So true that we are our ancestors... genetics are from God, and God arranges for personality characteristics to pass down through generations even without contact. The old argument "environment vs. heredity" was never won because it should never have been made to begin with. Heredity DOES pass down some personality aspects, even as environment shapes others.

So glad you were able to meet him and tangibly know him. And so very glad you have always seen yourself in him. God gave him enormous intellectual gifts, and he had backbone and principle to spare.

And I see those things in YOU.
